US-60 coming back?

I was just on the tower hobbies site and noticed that the Ultra Sport .60 no longer says "discontinued". It now says "order pending". I wonder if this is an error or if it's really coming back?

It's "Order Pending" on my end too. I would assume it's due to an overwhelming demand for this kit, along with the high volume of sales over a limited time period. It would definitely be profitable for them to continue production, I'm sure.

I was very shocked that they sold out that quickly. In fact, it almost took me by surprise. If it hadn't been for my wife playing santa I wouldn't have gotten one!!!
GP has always been good at playing the market, so they may have held some in reserve. Or they could have scheduled a second production run based on the rate of sales on the first one. There are a lot of possibilities here.

I have to clear a building board first!!!! [>:]
I'm hoping to have projects wrapped up by the time I go to Toledo so that I can start after we get back.

You know...the main reason the US60 sold out so quickly is because all of
us did such a good job advertising and promoting it.
So Ken...when do we get our commission checks?...
Im really glad to see they are doing another run of them. It does
show that they do indeed listen. Perhaps it bodes well for some other
popular kits that have seen the axe in years past like the Aeromaster
or Super Sportster Bipe.

The problem I have right now isn't time, but more logistics. I just don't have a clear bench to put a US 60 build on!!

I looked and they have the price listed too.
Great! I already ordered the plans from RCM. At least I didn't order all the wood yet. I have an ASP .61 that is homeless.

Some day I would like to get to the Toledo show. I'd have some 'splainin to do with my wife, but I'd try! I've had the US 40, and it was the best plane I've ever flown. I am building the US 60 kit right now, and I think it will equal the US 40 if not surpass it. If you are even thinking about getting one, DO!!! You won't regret it.

They also jumped the price up ten dollars too.
I had a hard time deciding on ordering the wood, or getting the kit. I am going to have to price things out again. That extra ten dollars might have just made building from plans more econimical.
