Nice build! What kind of building board are you using? I like the size but in the early pics it look almost like regular wood...

Very nice build, too bad you are not going to fly it.

Its a Great Plains 36" building board. I think SIG makes a similar building board. It was overpriced, really ($20). I could buy a defect hollow core door and ceiling tiles for about the same... but my workspace is confined to that 36" X 36" card table so the building board makes sense. It is wood, but it is lightweight and the pins go right into it. I didn't hurt my thumb.

I just finished building one. I was thinking it would come with ailerons, but did not, so just built wing flat and put my own in. It's designed to fly with a speed 280 brushed motor, but I desided to upgrade this power to brushless Castle Creations CM2040 motor and installed a cobri metal gear box with 6 to 1 gear ratio, APC 10-4.7 prop. Useing a Sky Shark rc 1300ma 2 cell lipo. Still to cold and windy to maiden. But when I do unfortunatly I won't be able to post any vidios of it because I don't own a digital camera and i'm basically computer illerate.

Hi everyone,

I know that this thread is over 2 years old, but I was just wondering... does anyone know of a Herr Li'l Extra ARF or kit for sale anywhere? TH and Sig don't carry them any more, so far as I can see...

Thanks,

Bob
