Gt. Planes makes a 40 size Spitfire kit. Check the Tower ads. I built one last summer. Nice kit, except for the bulky plastic cowl. It almost flies like a small pattern airplane.....very nice on slow rolls and four point rolls. Good on the ground too, after I modified the gear a little.
The kit is around $100 or so.
