I'm getting ready to build a TF P47 and have a few questions about engine selection. Has anyone powered this model with a gas engine? If so what brand?

when I was first building this model I was all ready to use a small gas engine but when the time came for the install there was just too much hanging out of the cowl for me I was going to use a BCMA-26 had I done a custom mufler that I could have fit it into the cowl, with just the carb sticking out,it would have been better, but I went for a OS120 pumped 4st instead it is fully concealed in the cowl which is how I like warbirds to look or at least close and loads of power.
one engine that might work well is the Zenoah G-20 its a little smaller than the BCMA not much but a little, another problem was the need to keep the electronics separate the model just isn't that big, unless your going with the spectrum radios which are not sensative to radio interferance.
here is a pic with the BCMA-26 fitted into the plane and a couple of the OS120 in the nearly finished P-47

The RCS 1.40 fits very well and has A lot more power then the Z-20. The rear mounted carb is sometimes A thrill to hook up the throttle though. And yes, the 2.4 really makes setting up gassers easier these days. The RCS is about the same size as the OS 1.20, I have swaped them out A few times without too much trouble.
RCS is RC Showcase by the way.
