Default Lazy Ace CG HELP!!!!!

Just purchased a lazy ace bipe and would like to know what the cg should be because I will be changing the radio equip and possibly the engine The plane is already built and the person that I bought it from never flew the plane and did not know the cg. The bipe is the 76" wing and any other info would be greatly appreciated Thanks, Tony

I've got the same Lazy ace. I balance mine at two and one quarter inches from the from leading edge of the lower wing.

Default Lazy Ace

The plans place it right at the forward brace at the fus. (for the upper wing). That is where mine is at and it works fine. If in doubt go a little nose heavy to start. Flew a Phaeton 90 that was about a pound tail heavy(really) didn't crash but never want that experience again(a friends plane). Talk about a plane that wanted to hover.
