Hi Daven: Richard here in Scappoose, Oregon. I just reviewed the construction of this model, and the kit comes with just the wood and plans. From reading the manual, you will be building a model completely from the ground up. Plus, you will need to purchase all of the hardware. From my prospective it would be a fun build while taking a go amount of time to complete. It compares very much like the Tower P-51 kit.
Have fun with your build, and get back to us how the first flight goes.

Rich,
Thats funny you mention that tower kit because a bunch of us bought out the Tower Extra Special (Very similar to the P-51) when it got priced down in the low 30's a few years back. I don't like kit hardware much, and I have enough extra stuff on hand where that won't be an issue. Even if I don't build the kit I'm getting $30 worth of balsa
I will build it eventually, kinda been stocking up on unusual discontinued kits for a rainy day.
