How can I remove scratch in plastic windows?

I've heard (but haven't tried it) using some toothpaste on a rag might work - like I said I haven't tried it, just read about it.

Toothpaste might work, after all, it's just a fine rubbing compound for teeth, but I think it might fog the plastic (not fine enough to polish the plastic to a clear finish). Seems also like by the time you worked enough to polish out a scratch, you could make a new window and fit it.

What kit is this for anyway?

thin some 24-hour epoxy with methanol to a milk-like consistency, and paint the canopy with it. You will get a nice scratch and fuel resistant surface if you prepare surface and tools well.

Scratch remover from you local motorcycle shop. For wind shields and face shields on helmets

Or CD scratch remover from your local office supply or music store.

Sand the plastic with 1500 grit and shot it automotive clear coat.
