I've heard (but haven't tried it) using some toothpaste on a rag might work - like I said I haven't tried it, just read about it.

Toothpaste might work, after all, it's just a fine rubbing compound for teeth, but I think it might fog the plastic (not fine enough to polish the plastic to a clear finish). Seems also like by the time you worked enough to polish out a scratch, you could make a new window and fit it.

thin some 24-hour epoxy with methanol to a milk-like consistency, and paint the canopy with it. You will get a nice scratch and fuel resistant surface if you prepare surface and tools well.

Sand the plastic with 1500 grit and shot it automotive clear coat.
