Default Tough Place for in-progress damage

During my 4 * 60 build, I seem to have damaged the fuse near the tail section. This seems to be the worst place for damage, due to the stresses this area will take during flight. I do not know the best way to repair this damage. Any help would be appreciated. I was just about to start covering. Bummer....

Re-enforce the cracks with small pieces of plywood and epoxy from the inside. Then fill the cracks on the outside with epoxy. It will take some sanding to get it smooth and add a little weight but it should be fine.

Thanks for the input. What about the crack right behind the turtledeck? Should it be a piece of triangle stock?

Yep, ply. I would use A sheet of 3/32 and do the complete section. If you have any worries you could drill through the fuse and new ply and epoxy in some tooth picks too. Not A bad break and an easy fix. How did you do that??

That is a really poor design in that part of the fuselage. No way does the top of the back former need to notch into the fuselage side that far down.

Yes, triangle stock behind the turtledeck. That will give you more surface area to glue.
