I finally ordered my TF Bonanza (Hold your applause, please), but they discontinued the light set for it. Is there an all-in-one option out there or am I stuck buying the RAM lights? I don't mind getting the RAM lights, but they add up and was looking for a less expensive option. Thanks for your input, Mike

I haven't seen another option any better than the Ram stuff. Are you doing just nav lights, or are you including landing lights and rotating beacon? I bought Ram lights for my BirdDog project, yeah, it sure did add up, about $120 or so by the time I got all the stuff. I'm doing nav (wingtip red/green, white tail strobe) separate wingtip strobes, Mars beacon on the belly, and landing lights. I'm going to power all the lights from a single source, with separate switch on the flap linkage to activate landing lights at just over half flaps.

lots of LED lighting on the site, for the 'do-it-yourselfer'.
Not a DIY'er, he'll assemble for 10 bucks more. Pretty nifty stuff. Strobe light LED, and a NAV Light set that can be programmed via PC.

Thanks for that info snurckle!
khodges, how are you going to wire the landing lights to the flaps? Could it be done to the landing gear instead?
Mike
