I have built and flown the Pica FW and just love this bird, the way it flies, looks etc etc. I have a pic in photo gallery. I would like to build a bigger size About 80" span +/- . Can you give me any ideas on high quality complete kits. I have built alot but dont want to fight a poor quality partial kit or one that is
old technology. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thx

If you are willing to build from plans, one of the magazines had a 190 D9 about five years ago. Think it was around 80" or so.
Bill.

Kirk , no problem they were published in two consecutive issues, but note the plans are for Ta-152 which is the close cousin of FW190-D9. I will post it tonight.

So right. It was the Ta-152. Just brain fade, sorry.

Northwest Hobby Tech has a FW-190 in that size range. A bit unconventional construction with foam cores sheeted with balsa, but they fly great. I think there might be one NIB for sale in the Warbirds section. Would work well with a 40cc gasser, OS160FX, or similar.

William beat me to it. The RCM article was published in November and September 1997. This is 94 Inches wing span model of TA 152H. designed for OS 108 2-stroke by David Andersen.
