Want a more powerful motor than the hobbyzone 480 1:3 geared brushed motor.I want too stay with brushed motor compatable with the 8.4 v hobbyzone batery for weight reasons .. I built a 54" wingspan x 35" length Aeronca L-3 Plans by Roger Winger. I test flew it with the hobbyzone super cub set up she needs just a little more power any suggestions? Yes i realize a brushless set up is the way too go but i want too keep this plane economical. Its a slow flyer just needs a wee bit more power for take off its all the 480 would do too get her airborne in a 5-7 mph wind. The fuselage, wing, gear weight was 17 oz before installing electronics.
