Default Glassing a 1/7th scale warbird

Hi, Ive got a top flight P-40 and I wanted to go with a camo paint job. Unless there is some product that I dont know about, monokote wont work too well for the camo look. Glassing and painting the plane would give me the look I desire but im not too sure how much extra weight it will add and how much it would affect the aircraft. Im sure somebody somewhere has done this so any info would be greatly appreciated. Btw im planning on using a .90 2 stroke. Also would I be able to fit one of the smaller (23 or 25cc )gas engines behind the cowl?

I glassed my TF P-40 and flew it with a Super Tiger .90. About 10.5 pounds IIRC.

That P-40 has a narrow Cowl; I don't know how well a small gasser will work or fit without cutting the cowl up a bunch, not to mention the additional weight of the ignition battery; on a 60 size p-47 the small gassers work because of the bigger cowl on these planes, a 91 4 Stroke should work without a problem, if you want more power, go with the YS 110 4 stroke.

thanks, Ill probably weigh the plane before I glass or monokote it and see where I am with the weight then go from there depending on how heavy or light it is. How much extra weight should I expect when glassing the plane?
