Say, Has anyone found a super cub cowl for this kit? I am thinking of making mine a AE 1. It has that cowl.
Thanks Alan

Fiberglass Specialties has a ton of cowls. Which kit are you building ? They have a Supercub Cowl to Convert the J3 for Sig 1/6 which im building. If they do not carry it, someone once told me that they are sometimes willing to accomidate special orders. That i cannot confirm though. I would send them an email or call them to see if they can make what you need.

Mine is the 1/5 scale sig cub. They do not list one for the 1/5 scale. Do you have any other ones to check out?
Thanks Alan

Looked abit didnt see much but i was wondering. Fiberglass Specialties DOES have a Greatplanes 60size Supercub Cowl to Convert the Greatplanes J3 Cub
Perhaps compare the dimensions from the Sig 1/5 to the GP .60 Cub. You MIGHT be able to use it.

Other then that i didnt see anyone else that offers the Supercub cowl to match your kit.

I think that IKON N'west had a Super Cub in that size. You may want to look for replacement cowls for it.

Tom,
Thanks for the direction. I called the number on the web site. It says it is no longer in service. I guess I am still looking.
Thanks
Alan

Look at aftermarket sites, for the replacement cowl.

I looked at Fiberglass Specialties, for you, but I didn't see one there.
