Here are my building buddies. Spicy, Chloe, Chessie, and Moose

The tan kitty is my oldest, she is 13. The other 3 are 1yr 7mo. The 2 long haired are Maine Coons, a male and female who are almost identical twins. The male is expected to reach 22lbs and the female betewwn 12-16lbs. They all like to help out occasionally, but I have to keep an eye on them......when I am not looking they like to get out the little parts and start "building" on their own, or they may not like how a part looks so they will reshape it using primative tools made of teeth, producing an undesireable rough finish. Chloe (the grey and white kitty) likes to sit with me while I am online and watch the screen. They are my 4 children, and I love them. The fish like to know what is going on too, but they are usually too busy clownin around!!

Chessie is our class clown... she is very different, and also special. We have almost lost her twice to ingesting foriegn objects, so after 2 surgeries and a $3000 bill we now have to keep a constant watch on her, which includes keeping her in a child-safe room. Some people think we are nuts for this but she is very special, she is very inteligent and does alot of odd things like going to the store and actually picking out things she likes (im not kidding, the people at Petsmart are amazed by her, she recently picked out a new bed after trying out 4 of them), she sits up and begs for food, plays in the bath water, gives kitty kisses on our noses, makes funny noises, likes to ride around in the car, and...well look at these 2 pics, in the pic where she is sitting up I called her over to me to take a pic of her, and on her own she posed this way when I pointed the camera at her, in the second pic she is pretending to be a circus lion....lol....very strange and affectionate kitty kitty.

Here are my build buddies. They are fine inspectors of my finished projects. Just can't turn your back on them or they will turn it into a chew-toy. In the photos a final check is being performed on my Kadet Mark II, just finished converting to electric.

Photo 1: Beau (Siamese long-hair) and Boots (black/white. Believe it or not, they are brothers) checking to make sure the wing is true and level.
Photo 2: Beau inspecting my radio hookup.

One calm clear night I left my H9 Ultra Stick forty on the back patio over night. The next morning one wing tip had little pin holes all in the corner.

To keep the shop "cleaner" , I do most of my sanding on frames on the deck outside of the shop. Most of the time in the evenings I have spectators! The most I have had at one time was 9. Usally, its just these 3

I've got a new one. The other black Cat just never came home one night. So now I've got a new one who likes to hang out on my shoulder while I'm in my shop working on models.
The other one was named Alex (that's cause my son had a black friend named Alex. This one is named Olly. That's my wife's idea, I thought she meant like Mohamed Allie. But alas she says it's cause when we first got him all he'd do was hide, you know like "Olly, olly oxen free or however it went when we were kids playing hide and seek.
It was kinda hard at first building models with him on my shoulder but we've come to an agreement. No claws and ya get to stay other wise get the %#*& off of my back!

That's like asking what came first the model or the cat.
