I am going to start building a Balsa USA Phaeton ll soon and
am wondering if anyone has built one with ailerons on both wings. If so did you use two servos in the wing or just use
the single servo on the bottom wing? Anything else special I should know?
Thanks
Sam

I've built two of these, they are great flyers. I did not put ailerons on the upper wing and never felt that they were needed; flew great as designed.

i built a phaeton with 4 ailerons..servo in each lower wing. quick roll rate is what i wanted. i dont think you will be happy with stock set up....4 stroke mag. .61 powers it nicely.

Thanks for the info flijim. I was kind of thinking that direction
As soon as I get some more building time I will dive into this
project. I think I will go with 4 ailerons.

I have the phaeton 2 and changed the aileron stock to 11/2" pre shaped stock and it wil roll very fast I still have them on low rates. I love this plane it will do just about anything .
