I picked up an Agwagon ( kit) already put together and it seems a bit tail heavy. It didn't come with the instruction book, so I'm wondering if anyone out there has put one of these together and knows how far back the CG is?

Dago Red has built a couple, whether or not the same kit as yours I do not know. Percentages should be the same, though, provided the rest of the two planes are proportionate.
Bill.

Kit manufacturer would be my first question. Who's kit is it? What size is it? I have a NIB Kyosho kit I can check the CG for you if it's the same model.

Dago Red-
“well, during take off, rotated, and she lifted to the right fast--i pulled to the left, nothin reveresed, just a stall. the fus was almost busted in 2 and the wing was shattered. it was a sad day for me. after being about 130 days in service, and the last of the 3 agwagons in my fleet, i gave up.”
This is what happened to mine on takeoff 2 years ago. Not enough speed before I lifted her off with a crosswind. I am just now getting her put back together.( I built from the balsa kit) My fuse is not too bad, but the left wing took on the most damage. My question, did you build a new wing or repair the crashed one. I love this plane, It looks so real on a slow flyby, always turns heads.

Thank you, JWN. Actually I was thinking about giving it to someone, as I've got a couple too many projects going on here, and the looks of the plane just aren't growing on me. I'll take it out for a few flights, but I've got 4 other low wings to fly around too.

The Agwagon is definately an aquired taste. I've always liked them, but my wife says they look pregnant. Personally, I hunted for nearly 2 years before I found my kit. One of these days, I'll build it and install a set of dusting rails under the wing. These planes look soooooo good flying just a couple of inches off the ground with a 4-stroke putt-putt-putting along.
Would you give it to me? I'll pay shipping!

Hey, I'd pay for shipping, too, if someone gave me a plane, but the person I'm giving it to is a good friend of mine. And by the way, it does have a 45 4-stroke up front. I've got to set it up & see if she "flies right" before I do anything.
