How many kits do you have right now?
I like this thread!
Hi. My name is EJ, and I’m a kit and plans hoarder. I keep adding kits to my collection because I’m intrigued by each and every one of them. I never really thought much about how many I have, so in the interest of staring this number square in the face, I’ve compiled a list.
So, here it is. I have fifty-three (53) kits. More than I’ll probably ever build, definitely more than I will ever be able to house. I’ll make a serious dent in the stash, and will sell some of them as I complete them. Guess that will make me a ARF manufacturer.

Scrubmonkey hang with your engineering ambition. There are times the schooling is a bit of a trial and sometimes there's a lot of schedule pressure to get stuff done but I found it a cool profession and got to travel all over the world. There's still good money to be made.
You being the last one, you are at the bottom of the list but George Carlin would never qualify.
You ought to read the book "The Cosmic Deity" where Scientists and Theologians Fear to Tread. Written by Robert G. Neuhauser who is a personal friend.
Bob (Robert) and I flew together in his Piper Tripacer. He is the second on my list of philosophers.

I was up to about 80, then realized the next 5 planes I wanted to build were all going to be scratch design/builds that would take well over each to build, so I sold about 60 of them. I'm down to around 20 that I can't part with, at least for now. Some classic scale kits like the big Pica Waco, Sig Ryan, Sig Liberty Sport, Sig Zlin, Sig Yak 18, Royal Stearman and P-6 Hawk. Some great flying aerobatic planes like a Goldberg Extra and Miles Reed Super Solution, and finally my backup Whirleybird Aviation PCA-2 Autogiro. If Joe is still selling these I recommend picking one up before it's too late!
Thanks,
John
EDIT-> Goggled Whirleybird Avaition. I have an email in asking for a short kit price list.
Kits still in the box.

Guess what I found (hiding under one of beds in our house)???? A Dog House Extreme KIT....I knew I had one, just didn't know where I 'hid' it.....and that was 10 years ago! Boy was the box top dirty....me thinks of making a lot of scrap wood into a 'new' kit so I can have a back up 'just in case'....
