somewhere after the sanding sealer (deft) i now brush a coat of thinned or watered down hobbylite balsa filler over my wing and then sand again. it fills in most of the wood grain and pores very nicely. then you're ready for the glass.

What kinda paint can I put down over the Deft?

I want to use PPG automotive paint. But I really don't know a darn thing about paint compatibility. The Deft is lacquer.
