RE: AMR Giant Stick 50
So far I mainly have all glow plains. I have only built two gas powered planes and like them a lot. I have never flown any kind of twin before because I have always heard they are a lot more trickier if an engine goes out and getting glow engines to synch just right is kind of a challenge. I was just wondering, are gas engines any more reliable as far putting the on a twin engine plane? I know my OS 55 gt and DA100 I have now seem every bit as reliable if not more than a lot of my glow engines. Have you experienced an engine out on this twin engine stick and do you know how it handles flying on just one engine. I know if one engine goes out its best to kill the other one as soon as you can and just try to glide it in.
thanks,
David

Michel, will the twin firewalls accept a DLE55? I live at 6,000 feet and we need extra power. I've got a DLE111 on your Stick85 and it could use more so I'd like to build the twin and put DLE55's on it. Thanks, Jerry.

You will to move the engine box a little bit to have more prop clearance. Those engine box are very strong, we already have those parts laser cut, if someone want to modify his stick, or install 3 engine... like 20 or 30cc.

Ordered my Twin Stick. Michel mentioned the firewalls are 4.25 x 4.25 in case any of you are interested. Should fit a DLE55 using a three blade prop. I'm converting mine to tri gear.

Got my Twin Stick fuse built and rough sanded when I noticed there doesn't seem to be slot for the servo wires for the elevators. The bulkhead at the front of the rudder looks to be blocking all access for a servo wire. Did I miss something in the build? Jerry.
