I'm about ready to join the wings on my midwest extra and am having a little trouble. The brace that goes into the wings doesn't go in all the way on each one. Has anybody else had this problem and what did you do to solve. If anybody can give me an idea of what to do here that would be great.

FF:

If it is just a little too long go ahead and trim it. If it's 1/2" or more I'd ask Midwest about it.

Bill.

Then just sand it to get a free fit.

You don't want it too loose, but you do want to get the epoxy all around it when joining the wing.

funflyer06,

Over here in australia the Midwest Kits retail around $AUD700. I have been led to belive you can build this version of the plane from just the planes. If your interested in selling those plans or what ever Americans do with plans, I am interested.
Thanks Josh
