Hi Scott17,
A friend of mine told me that you were seeking information on the Kloud King. My Dad and I are fortunate enough to own one. Ours is an enlarged design from 1938. Ours has a wingspan of 108 inches and is powered by an O.S. FS-91 four-stroke and it is such a joy to fly. It looks so majestic in the air. We recently upgraded and refurbished it a bit. New Spektrum radio, new fuel tank and flew it again just last summer when Dad came down for a visit over the 4th of July weekend. It was a weekend I won't soon forget. If you take the time to build one, you won't regret it, the plane features very beautiful lines. There may be other airplanes that went by this name later on. Here are a few photos of our Kloud King...

Hope you enjoy the photos, I don't have the plans any longer, but I'm sure they're available out there somewhere, you might check for possible vendors on the [link=http://www.antiquemodeler.org]Society of Antique Modelers website[/link].

scott,
The original CLOUD King was a 1937 design with a 50" wingspan. The original KLOUD King is a 1938 design with a 63 1/2" span. Both are cabin type designs and you can get plans for both through the AMA plan service ($15 for the cloud, $19 for the kloud)
I've just finished framing up an original Kloud King. So far it's been a very straightforward build. There's a bunch of sanding still to do, but it's coming along nicely.
Mud Duck's enlargement makes me think about taking my plans to Kinkos. Beautiful job.
have fun!
