two weeks ago I received a new Chipmunk Kit to build for my Son. This is Chipmunk # 6, I have build in the past 15 Years for myself and other folks. I was always a breeze to build Goldberg Models, but NOT with this one. First, the laser cut balsa and plywood is unbelievable bad, some off it just 1/2 penetrated, others lines mismatch by 1/4 inch. Then, a bundle of sticks was missing from the Kit, after many complaints and phone calls I finally received a new assortment of Sticks, but guess what, some of these were the wrong size and I had to make a Trip 40 Miles away to get the right ones needed. What kind of employees do these People have?, seems like they do not know the difference from 1/4" to 3/16", and worst of all, they can't count either. What is this Modeling World coming too, I believe, if I spend $ 150.00 for a Kit, I damn well expect it to be perfect and complete. Personally, I will not buy another Kit from this source, you can bite me one time, but not twice.

I bought a sig kadet senoir last year, same problems, called them and the guy say's what do you expect for $200.00. It was the arf and came with a disclaimer attached to the manual about the covering and reinforcing wing joiner.
terrible fit had to really work at it to make things fit.

I had one piece missing from a Sig MidStar, that was quite late in arriving. Contacted Sig and the part was shipped promptly and carefully wrapped. The hassle and added costs of getting that delivered far exceeded the profit on the plane. I was and continue to be impressed with their service. mike La Paz, BCS, MX
