Everyone,
I think I found the problem to my poorly running engine. I took the cowl off at the field tonight and pulled the needle valve all the way out. On the tip of the needle, I found a very small piece of plastic 'film' for lack of a better term. I'm not sure how it got in there, but I have now learned a valuable lesson on putting a fuel filter on the fuel line.
Anyway, put everything back together tonight and the engine was running really well again. I got 3 flights in before it got too dark. It's gonna take a little time getting used to takeoffs with this plane as it was all over the place, but flight and landings are a thing of beauty.
Now, on to build something a little faster.
Regards,
Don
