fillets

Use strips of Monokote or what ever you are covering with, put thick ca on your strip, put in on the fillet and smooth it good with your finger. Use heat to make it smooth. Then cover the model. You can cover over the fillets to make them all 1 job if you want, or leave them as is. It makes it much easier.

On trailing edges, wrap the first side so it goes around the corner, start on say the bottom and wrap it so it goes just to the top surface but not on it. Use a sharp razor blade to trim it along the top and not knick the top. I use probably 3 blades per covering job. I buy them by the 100 for about $6. Then on the second side, wrap it so that the covering goes just to the bottom surface, this will give you an overlap of about 1/8 inch. Trim it straight using the surface as a guide. It takes a lot of heat and pulling on the tight corners.
On inside corners, I use the glue method and glue in a pice of monokote that goes on say the elevator fuse joint. Use about 1/4 or 1/2 inch strip, glue it on, smooth it, then run the covering right to the corner. You will only have one line that way and no bubbles, and you don't have to cover the inside corner.
