I saw a neat little plane at the field today, but I did not get a chance to really find out more information, I think he said it was a sig little something extra, he had an os 10 in it. I did a search but was not sure how it was spelled. Any clues, is it an old kit, or are there planes for the plane?
Thanks

Herr recently stopped making it, so whatever is left in someone's stock is it. It used to sell for $60 which I think is (was) a pretty sweet deal.

I have one with an OS.10FSR running 15%. Nice little plane, no speed demon with this power plant. Issues are covering related mostly, my covering was poor. Like someone had oiled the plane before application. Herr/Sig has discontinued this plane.[&o]

I have two in the box waiting to be built. I have a Magnum .15 XLS that I am planning to put on the first one, I think it will have plenty of power.

I built one and sold it to a bud of mine since I'm not ready for that much plane yet. I put an OS .15 in it with a 8x4 apc prop on her. He is running 30% nitro and thats one bad plane!

Will Norvel 061 work?
What prop would be good for 074 and 061?
Thanks

I think I used a 7x3 or 7x4 prop but it has been a few years so I don't remember for sure.
I think the guys over in the 1/2A forum could provide some good information: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_70/tt.htm

I've got a quantity of sig/Herr little extras N.I.B. They will be listed in the for sale section on RCU. They look like high quality arf's and great flyers. John R.

The Herr/Sig Somethin' Extra looks like it might be a fun plane to convert to Electric flight. If it is anything like it's big brother it has to be a great flyer!

The .074 puts out as much power as a 10, but the .15 flies it better than the .074, plus it's a cheaper motor to buy, the last time I checked the .074's are going for around 100 bucks, plus, the plugs are expensive, the cheap magnum .15 is like 60 bucks, and has 1.5x's the power.

I'm asking because I have several 074s and 061s new sitting here.
