P-47 D PILOT:

This looks like an excellent way for you to learn kit building. If you can cover and paint already, that's the hard part. Building is easy.

Since they aren't intended to fly, minor and major mistakes might make a difference in the final appearance, they will still do very well in their intended purpose as display models.

Besides, the shipping alone will eat you alive.

Bill.

i agree
shipping is expensive nowadays
i'd be willing to build them but it wouldn't be worth the cost
i suggest you give it a shot with one
i'm currently working on 3 guillows planes as well as 5 other RC planes
yep, all at the same time
lol
i'm converting the guillows B17 to full function RC as well

I'm in Houston, just down the road, assuming the Austin you are from is in Texas.

PM with details if you are interested.

Default I'd love to do it

I'll do it. I want to decorate my sons' room with planes too. We are expecting our first son in late September.

You buy me a Guillows kit for each one I build for you and we'll call it even.

I find it kinda fishy that lloydllc is a new member and is coming in replying to differnent build threads telling people to check out a website for a building business. I mean 4 posts and all 4 say the same thing and in his profile is shows him as being from the same town as the contact info for that website. Come on just come out and say that you'll build it and refer them to your website. you don't have to troll the board acting as your own reference.

All I have running through my head is empire of the sun, the movie when christian bail was little and in singapore when the they got attacked by the jap's. Great movie, one of my favorites, but I remember watching that and thinking, geeze that looks similar to my room when I was growing up, all those gullows type models hanging from the ceiling.
