Royal Midi Corsair

Sorry for the long silence. Wing is nearly complete as is the fuse, both fully planked which will cost me in weight (that was why I wanted more power). Good eye to the person who spotted the sportster 45. But no, it was not for the Corsair. There was no way that would have reasonably fit. Nor was I able to locate a satisfactory 10oz tank. So, since I had to buy the engine. I decided to go electric, even though I will have to save a bit for it,the speed control and bateries. I do belive I will purchase a matched set, just because they (to the best of my limited knowlage on the subject) work better that way. And since electric power has really evolved, I dont belive I will have much problems in finding a satisfactory setup. I will post more picturs soon.

Ok, here are the pictures I promised. Sorry for the spelling, not my best point. And the photo quality, I shipped my camera off with my son in law to afghanistan so I used my cell phone.
The partialy compleated servo tray. I know, it still needs some work.

I started on the battery hatch.

I planked the wing because I did not like the single servo set up for the alirons. I tried to do internal linkage, but alas it was not to be.

An overall of the bottom side.

And the top.

One of the alirons.

I know it's been a long time. But it is not forgotten. Lost access to my building table. I hope to start again soon. Got an eflite power 60, way more than I need but it was sweet deal. Unless I can get a power 46 or similar. It will make an already nose heavy problem worse but I may use it anyway. I will have to look at moving the battery pack. There certainly won't be a power problem. Got the wing built, just need to glass it. Hoping that will raise the surface flush with the servo covers. I appreciate your patience and input. It really helps me.
