Dumb question?
I have a Great Planes Super Skybolt. What real aircraft is the model of? About the only Skybolt I have found is the Steen skybolt which has a round cowl over a radial engine.
Any info would be a great help.

I found a biplane forum via a yahoo search and found this thread http://www.biplaneforum.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=655 with pictures that look like the inspiration for the GP model.

The Steen Skybolt is a homebuilt aircraft and that is what the GP Skybolt is modeled after. You can build the plane to house many different engine combinations. Just like us R/C modelers homebuilders will throw just about anything into a plane if it will fit.
