Default Dynaflite Corsair build

Hey folks,
I just purchased a fun scale corsair, and would like to put mechanical rotating retracts on it. I know I can order the ones that fit the Horizon Hobby corsair, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me where else I might find some. HH is out at this time, or if anyone has some they took out of a HH navy plane they would like to sale. Also if anyone has any tips please let me know. Especially how much nose weight may be needed to balance. I had a P51 with a OS 46 that required quite a bit of lead. I am thinking a YS 63 on this one. Thanks and stay tuned for the build.
Alan

Alan, I built this model many years ago. I suggest you measure the plans for the wings. On mine the inboard gull sections were not of the same span and this caused a real mess when i tried to assemble the wing and set the dihedral.

I decided to use a 2 stroke motor. I didn't want to the head sticking out. So I got a TT 46 at the LHS for 96.00 with tax. Not too bad. I also have seperated all the die cut pieces and numbered them. I will probably start glueing pieces after Chrstmas.
Merry Christmas

Well I am out of town for Christmas, and cant wait to return home and get busy. I did start on the fuse before I left. I have both sides built. I had a fun fly P51. I hope this one flies just as well. The P51 was my first kit. I have it still, but it is in need of some repair to be air worthy. I might just break it back out after the corsair.
Merry Christmas

Hi Alan,
The Corsair must be an older Dynaflite kit, didn't they discontinue those awhile back? Post some pics of your build if you can!

Yes it is a old kit. I am not sure when they stopped making it. I found one on ebay. I plan on posting pictures as I build.
