Hello all,
I need instructions for a Gentle Lady I recieved from a friend recently. The kit is in very bad condition and the plans are falling apart but still workable with some scotch tape. I'm missing the instruction booklet and checked with Carl Goldberg(the new owners) and they want 16 bucks for the instructions....YIKES! I dont even know if this kit is worth that price because a lot of the wood is broken and moldy and will need to be replaced. If this plane is going to end up costing me more then buying a new kit, I'm going to end up tossing it. If anyone has instructions to this kit, I'd be very grateful so I can at least see if it is worth saving and if I have enough good parts to start with.
Thanks

From: peebles, OH,
this plane was a construction article in rcm i believe. find someone who has the issue or call rcm. the gentle lady is one FINE flying glider. i have built 3 of them all with a 0.049 on the front for propulsion. have had the plane almost fly out of site on several occasions. lots of fun. toby....

I've just check with RCM and will wait to see what they say about back issues. If they can help me out, this old plane may be able to finally be able to soar like it was meant to rather then sit in a tattered box for 30 years.
thanks again

I have both the RCM magazine article and a copy of the gentle lady instructions.
I was going to scratch build one from the RCM plans, but then found the kit instructions/plans at an estate (R/C only!
) sale. I got a deal on a Spirit kit and put the GL on hold.
I recommend buying the plans from RCM and you get the article with it for under $10 shipped.
I could also scan or xerox the Goldberg instructions for you too...
