Could be both. Although kits are getting harder to find, they are out there. I come to Florida for the winter, but it seems like "up North" is having a colder than usual winter.

For me it is all of the above. It is winter time, I am new to building and enjoy it, and I am unemployed and it helps kill time. Even if i was employed and the weather was nice i still think I would be building. I know you can't beat the price of an ARF but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing your work come together.

My Feedback: (-1)
I haven't seen any real rise in the building over the years, it looks like it has been going down to me??? That's over all building though, even in the scratch building forum. Really hard to say, it has always gone up and down. I tend to build more in the summer months, I know, I'm odd. I just have a problem going out to the shop when it's dark outside?? My shop has heating and air so weather shouldn't bother me very much at all, I just like it more when the sun is shining.
