I can't believe it. I posted a garage sale ad as I am thinning out my Ben Buckle kits, but am also looking for a Majestic Major kit or a built up RTF OT old timer.....2200+ looks but not one contact. Am I the only person in the world who loves flying these things on lazy sumer days?

There is a world wide club structure, similar to the AMA that is focused on the old time models with engines like the Olson &RIce 60. We have a local chapter. The name escapes me right now, but I'll dig through my back emails and get you a contact.
Remind me if I don't show up with it in day.

My Feedback: (-1)
I fly with one fellow that is flying some old timers his dad had built years ago, I love seeing them but it's not my cup of tea. I like the SPA type of old designed pattern planes myself plus I'm a big fan of Extras and fun fly planes. There is a nook for everyone so Dons club may be what your looking for.

Gene, about 75 at the field today and light wind. We have had some incredable flying weather the last week. Subject to change.
The group I was talking about is SAM http://www.antiquemodeler.org/ Check them out, there is likely to be a chapter in your area. When I first did the Google search, the club I came up with was in the UKand it had the link to SAM US.

Thanks, Don. I'll look em up. Our club has a wide variety of fliers. I enjoy all their planes, but my old eyes and slow thumbs prefer slow, non challenging aiplanes.
