Default Robart Oloes on Top Flite Spit

The TF Spit has robart retracts with the standard wire legs on the plan and instructions. This shows the legs being bent forward about 1/2" - 3/4" at the wheel axle.
I have invested in some robart oleos to replace the legs, they are on the way from Tower Hobbies. Do I still need to have the Oleos angled forward and if so how do I acheive this.

Cheers mi' dears

I assume that the bend occurs at the retract, in such fashion that the whole leg is bent forward. Robart oleos have you cut off most of the wire leg, and use about 1/2" that is left, and you set screw the oleo on to the wire.

I know what I mean, and you will when you get the oleo.
