Default avistar steering wheel problem

i have an avistar and the front steerin wheel goes full travel in one direction and almot none in the other

Sounds like you might have a centering issue on the steering arm or the servo. The nose wheel only needs a small amount of deflection. Good Luck, Dave

its not the servo i checked when i got this, it like the control rod is hitting the fuse. and stopping it so the horn on the wheel bends

Rotate the steering arm on the wheel strut.</p>

<div>Great illustration of the workings Minnflyer. I have this plane also and fond that the way it was set up really did not work to well. So I modified it. First I drilled a new hole for the pushrod that lined up better then the one provided. Second I moved the steering arm forward slightly so that when if pulled in it just stops short of the firewall, just like the drawings shown above.</div><div></div><div>TB</div>
