+1 on the larger rudder, plus replace the landing gear with Dubro - stock gear is crap.
I've flown mine so much, I just wore through one of the CA hinges...

My Feedback: (-1)
I use most everything supplied in the kit, The plane sits down like a feather floating on a breeze, if you bend the LG you have really done something wrong. Last month I built one completely stock, most of the others I have cut out wing bays depending on how well the student can fly. I also add to the rudder if the student is really good and getting into a lot of stunt flying. I have added to the elevator also but it isn't really required. Even in stock form the plane can do stunts pretty well. I have been using the 4* 60 as a teaching aid to building for my students first kit. Very nice build and no surprises. Good choice!!

My stock axle bent taxiing on a paved runway.
(The gear bent when I did something wrong!?!)
Anyway, the Dubro gear makes it fun to fly and quite durable. Couple weeks ago I got hit by an errand crosswind gust that kicked it from a nice smooth almost landing 12 inches off the deck to very short lived knife edge. Only damage was a broken prop.
Maybe Gray Beard can give me some tips on avoiding that crosswind issue?
As for the bigger rudder, it won't hold a knife edge well without it, and that slightly small rudder is the only issue. It tracks great, just falls off ever so slightly.
