original SIG Rascal 110 was to little for me
, and I start to build a 141 inch (3600mm) wing span "my own" RASCAL.
exactly, my plane only "looks like" RASCAL, because a construction is fully independent of SIG kit's.
it has a 2 spar wings, detachable 1550mm consoles and non-detachable 500mm middle-plane.
target was a 6-6.5 kg all-up weight at electric version, or 8-9 kg 50cc gas version.
here some pictures of building process (electric version):

now I need just to complete a covering and install a motor and radio gear.
approximated all-up weight is 6.2kg

That looks great. I love the rascal 110 and have always thought 12' version would be nice. Whats the power going to be, 30cc?
The best thing about my rascal is that I can thermal it up there with the buzzards.

my power set-up is electric, 2.1 kilowatts or little more.
for 6 kilograms weight 1800 watts is enough. 30-50cc gas engine can be attached to, but gas version must be a little havier, for 1-1.5 kilograms.
covering is SOLARFILM Polyester Supershrink LITE orange and white.

before- and after-test flight photos here

it flies at half throttle and land very slow, nice steering and gliding.
power-to-weight ratio is 0.85, ready to flight weight is 7kg.
