shaping wing tip
what "rule of thumb" can I use when shaping my wing tips? It's a TF 63'' p-47. the instructions just say "shape the tips with a sanding block". Is their a specific thickness I should end up with (like the very edge) winding up being an 1/8th inch. continue the natural angle of the wing all the way to the tip ?? etc..
any advise would be good |

Moe,
Double and triple posting your questions is against RCU rules and pretty annoying for the rest of us who have to sift through them. I answered your post in "Beginners', so if you'd edit these to say "Closed" in the subject line, I for one would appreciate it. Dennis- |

moe,
Typically, you have a profile of the wingtip on the plans that come with your kit. Shape it as per the plans. |

No need to go away mad Moe, but dennis is right, posting in more than one forum at a time is considered SPAM and against RCU policy.
Just try not to do it anymore, and enjoy all RCU has to offer. :) |

Hey moe!
If you're building it to be scale or scale-like, look at the plans, look for pictures (search here at RCU and elsewhere on the Internet). If not, use the TLAR method. That Looks About Right. |
