Default shaping wing tip

what "rule of thumb" can I use when shaping my wing tips? It's a TF 63'' p-47. the instructions just say "shape the tips with a sanding block". Is their a specific thickness I should end up with (like the very edge) winding up being an 1/8th inch. continue the natural angle of the wing all the way to the tip ?? etc..
any advise would be good

Moe,
Double and triple posting your questions is against RCU rules and pretty annoying for the rest of us who have to sift through them.

I answered your post in "Beginners', so if you'd edit these to say "Closed" in the subject line, I for one would appreciate it.

moe,

Typically, you have a profile of the wingtip on the plans that come with your kit.
Shape it as per the plans.

No need to go away mad Moe, but dennis is right, posting in more than one forum at a time is considered SPAM and against RCU policy.

Just try not to do it anymore, and enjoy all RCU has to offer.

Hey moe!
If you're building it to be scale or scale-like, look at the plans, look for pictures (search here at RCU and elsewhere on the Internet).

If not, use the TLAR method. That Looks About Right.
