I started with an OS 40 La and it was a nightmare. After that I put a supertigre 45 and it improved it alot. I also made mine a taildragger but had a free turning tailwheel. It took a while to get use to but it worked.:D

When I got into the hobby I had my sights set on a Kadet Senior ARF. The hobby store wouldn't sell it to me unless I promised that I'd put a Saito 91 under the hood at risk of the life of my first born.

Gotta go big or go home ... ;)

Mine has an Evolution 100 on it, which seems to be a decent match. Im sure mine is heavier than average though.

Engine likes to quit when you throttle up from idle is about my only complaint about the setup.

Tom, do you have any pics or diagrams of this procedure? I am a newbie and want to make sure to do it right.
Have a kadet in need of major overhaul and this might be the time to redo and strengthen the tw assy.

Hey Pete,

I have not worked on the Kadet for awhile now but when I do the tailwheel mod I will be sure to take pics and post them.
