Identification of Gee Bee
 

Needing help identifying this 33% Gee Bee z kit manufactuer. 93 inch wing. 15 to 20years old. Starting to gather info. needing plans and wing kit. I'm going to take a wild stab at it.... perhaps this was built from Don Neill's plans? If it really is that old, I do not believe Hostetler had yet produced 33% Gee Bee Z plans, but I could be wrong on that.
93" span is 33% for the Z.
Don Neill's Z was the gold standard many years ago at 33%.

I am sure that with lots of elbow grease and creativity, the wing is salvageable... but the issue I see is... it is a ONE PIECE WING.
I can state from personal experience that sanding, covering, and painting a 9 foot wing is a PITA!
You also need to consider the loads placed on the wing by the landing gear.... if you build a two-piece wing that plugs into a center section.... and the center section also mounts the gear, then you can move the aircraft around on its main gear WITHOUT having to attach the wing.
You may want to consider rebuilding as a two-piece wing. Hostetler Gee Bee Z plans would probably do the trick.
