Balsa USA Enforcer
I have not flown one yet (will be test piloiting one this spring with a ram jet engine) but I have seen them fly. They are VERY FAST! Good fliers!

Where did you get that photo you have posted? The photo you posted looks like the one I did for Balsa USA a few years back. They fly real nice and easy, You can even get them to hover if you have enough wind. The one you have posted I gave to my dad after the photos were taken. I built another one, and made a few changes. I installed a differnt canopy from a laker, lengthened the fins, and closed up the prop cut out one rib bay on each side. It's the best flying one I have flown, a couple of club members flew mine, and liked the way it handled, it flys slower, and faster than the stock version. So they took the changes I made and built their own. It's a great kit, and a blast to fly. (P.S. check out my gallery for my other Delta) Good Luck Ralph V. |

Highvoltage,
You will absolutely love the way the Enforcer flys. Its a great model. Do a search on Byro Blaster if you want to see an Enforcer on steriods(Ducted fan). Jerry |
Balsa USA Enforcer
I'm flying mine with a .61 TT Pro. Not enough umph but I fly at 5300' elevation field. I'm going with a .91FX next. The kit is older and doesn't have all the nice laser cut pieces that newer kits do. The fuselage is ply sheeted which is a little strange. I soaked mine and "precurved" them before gluing. The nose is just a block of wood and is a pain to carve to the desired shape. I used two aileron servos and one elevator servo in the wing rather than the weird pushrod setup in the stock kit. I had to cut a hatch in the nose to mount the battery to get it to balance properly. It's a pain to cover because the wing is so big. You have to be a little creative so you don't wind up with too many seams. Flies very easy. Lands so sweet. You can cut the power way out on the downwind leg and it comes in nice and slow. Fun plane. No rudder though, so you basically fly fast and turn left.

here is a link to the enforcer matt and i put together.

I saw your video, looks like it flies nice, and plenty of power. I built annother enforcer of wich I made lots of modifications, actually the only part I used from the kit was the canopy. I wanted something a little differant, so I made new ribs with a thinner airfoil, streamlined the fuse (made it narrower, and lower) and lengthend the fuse also, and raked back the fins for a more streamlined look. I filled in the prop cut out, as I didn't need it for my choosen power supply, and went with elevons for the controls.I call it the Enforcinator. It came out to 6 lbs ready to fly, I hope it's as fast as it looks. I taxied it down the runway at the local airport, and it gets up and scoots along pretty quick. Now I just have to get it to our club field, so I can give it a go. I just finnished it befor the weather got cold, so I haven't had a chance to fly it yet, but spring is only a couple months away, I can't wait to try it out. It seems to have plenty of power, and the sound of the motors running is way too cool. Here's a few pictures enjoy. Ralph V |
RE: Balsa USA Enforcer
what exactly did you use for power? i can not tell from the pictures. it looks less phat that the stock enforcer.
this summer i am going to buy a tower hobbies .75 for the plane u seen flyine in the vid. more rpms same prop should be aver 100 mph. just dissapointing the plane did dam near 100 with a old 1.5 hp .61 and we put a 2.54 hp .91 and it is slower. the hobby shop owner (who was not there when we got it) said he was never impressed with the thunder tiger .91 and would talked us out of it for speed. it does jump in the air with it though. |
RE: Balsa USA Enforcer
ralph if you search my videos there is a flying vid and a landing vid also

RE: Balsa USA Enforcer
I'm using two 75mm ducted fan units with brushless motors. The wing is about half the thickness of the stock wing, I just bairly had
room for the servos. When I spool up the motors it sounds like a real jet turbine engine. Ralph V |

RE: Balsa USA Enforcer
Hey Ralph,
I can't wait to see that one fly. A couple more months and we'll have some nice weather. Give me a call when you take it out, I'll take a ride down to watch. I'm free every evening. We are still in the gym up here. The field still has a fair amount of snow/water soaked soil in it so we shouldn't be able to get in for a few more weeks. I'm finishing up one that I started 10 years ago. We should be able to get 5 of them in the air easy at the next fly in. Mark |
