Any progress yet? |
RE: Sig Kobra construction thread
I have been flying a newly built Kobra this spring. I love the way it lands with the nose high and just sinking to the runway. If I did it again: I would split the elevator, pull the fuse ends together at the back, extend the rudder to the fuse bottom, make it a tail-dragger.
It has some weird rudder coupling that makes knife edge challenging. The nose is cramped so the nose gear is tight. After it was built, I hogged out the engine compartment. I can now remove the engine with the mounts attached. This is easier than removing the engine with the mounts attaches to the firewall. The cowl made things tight up front. It's fun to fly! Have fun. |
RE: Sig Kobra construction thread
I think im going to leave the front open to. It is very cramped. No way of removing any thing once the cowl is built in
