You are so absolutely right! and maybe this explains why so many kits really end up on e-bay and not in the air...
I am always amazed how many OOP kits are still available there.

Reading the item descriptions on Ebay it seems many come from estate sales or people that can no longer enjoy the hobby.

Your laser cut parts look great. I've noticed that laser cutter prices have been coming down considerably and will see if I can find a local source to work with. It should be much faster, more convenient and less expensive than RC cutters.

I too have a StCroix LongEZ stashed away and far more models than I could ever build. I do love having the selection though. Many will probably end up on fleabay in 40 years!

What a scary thought! I guess that I may not live forever (jury is still out), but maybe my son or daughter will carry on with the projects?
