dumb things we do..................
Had what I call a very close call today..I have been upgrading my caliber recently and gave it its first gentle hover this afternoon to trim it up and settle things in..I must say all the changes have been totally worth it it hovered beutifull and only reguired a few trim clicks to get level........well they say its the little things that catch you out i went down to the garage tonight to put my transmitter on charge and for some reason gave the tail a twitch with my hand....noticed it had a bit of looseness in the tail and thought i might put a little silicon grease on the pins on the new tail arm..

cont well it was then I noticed one of the pins on the lever arm which drive the tail missing, they are a screw in pin on the alloy upgrade,, the other pin on the top i could remove with my fingers.......then I realised that I hadnt tightened them up when I first installed the arm, probably waiting to get the locktite so here I was hovering on one pin and the other loose..................what a lucky boy I was to notice this,,,and to top it off moved the granvia out of the drive and there was the missing pin all nice and shiny in my drive!!! needless to say bothare now installed and locktited in!!!! wouldnt want it to have come out at a few hundy feet or bye bye chopper and bling......its the little things that count ehhh!! ;-)

My Caliber has always been faultless but I had a tail gear fail on my brushless Zoom 400...... Makes for an interesting and ultimatley expensive 10 seconds I can tell you
