The Caliber M50 has been out since 1999. It as a small version of the Caliber 60 and subsequently very expensive.
I dont know of any new 50 version coming out, or upgrade kit to 50 size for the 30 (like the raptor has)
The caliber 30, is a smaller version of the 50 and 60, and manufactured mainly of plastic parts making it more affordable.
The M50 is almost the same cost as the 60, so kyosho naturally didnt sell that many (why not spend that little extra for a 60), which now maks parts difficult to source.
Tongie, has left a thread indicating that there is a MT50 version coming out, but his link to it is the old M50.
Im in Japan, and have not heard a thing about a new 50 Version, I would like to know more if there is a new one coming soon.
Here is the link to the original 1999 M50 - still being produced obviously.

Some other info is on Jason Chans website, including the history of the caliber 30. Link.......
