I have a problem with my corona in that as soon as i increase the throttle enough to get it off the group, it spins. Gyro problem? Trim on radio didn't work. I played around with the setup of the gyro with gain and stuff, didn't stop either. Is this Normal?

sorry, about the little info, it's spinning to the right (from of heli going right, tail going left). I trim it so it won't turn on the ground, but as i start to increase the throttle, it would spin again. Thanks

Sounds like the gyro isn't working at all. What gyro and what radio? Have you done any of the gyro ground tests? Have you checked the front TR pinion set screws?

yah sounds like the tail rotor gear is spinning on the wire.. did you file a flat space on that lil wire? also with the heli on the ground if you push the tail does the gyro counter act by changing the pitch on the tail rotor?

I checked the TR and it's not loose, the gyro does correct it.

I think what you are experiancing is normal as your headspeed builds rapidly and the T/R doesn't have enough speed to counteract the rapid tq increase caused by the main blades. All helicopters do this, even collective pitch ones. But it is less previlant in cp heli's because the tail rotor runs at a near constant speed.

Lift your heli into about a 3 foot hover and use trim to counter act it - if the heli will hold a relitivly stable hover than there is no problem with your setup.

The stupid problem keep coming and go. The hollow tail rotor shaft would spin but the rotor hub does not. Please help

I feel like kicking myself. The answer was right in my fast. The setscrew that goes into the tail rotor and the tail rotor hub was loose so the shaft keep spinning, grrrrr!!!. Part#11410 btw if u dunno what i'm talking about.
