Has anyone done this(glo>electric) with the conversion kit? It sells around $80 and seems to consist of main/tail blades, long boom and drive wire, crutch, piezo gyro mod and some miscellaneous small parts. The individual parts don't seem to add up to that much.
Yes, I've been told just to buy the 120 kit, but I have 2 crashed 110s.

Thats what I want to do, every time I ask a dealer about doing that, they say just buy a 120. It just seems that I can buy the parts individualy a little cheaper than the conversion kit.

Make you a new crutch out of lite plywood. This one I made out of 1/16" for lighter weight. And doubled it with 1/8" where the motor mount. Haven't used the crutch I made yet.
