New Corona Motor
I've got a Corona 120. A friend of mine just got out of the hobby and he had several motors he gave me. He had a Kokam Speed 600 motor that I put on my Corona but it just doesn't seem to have the power to get off the ground. Does anyone know weather a speed 600 will work on a Corona?
Thanks

RE: New Corona Motor
it is recomended that you put a 400 size motor in the carona, i just use a buggy motor, a jaguar 16 double to be exact, and it works great, and only 29.99 (CDN)!! i have no experience with the 600 morors but my LHS faithful says go with a standard 400 buggy motor with 15 to 17 turns double.

RE: New Corona Motor
Thanks. I never could get it off the ground with the 600 so went back to my Fusion 7 (which I was trying to get away from) and it still works fine. So I will just guess that a 600 wont work.

RE: New Corona Motor
The Corona will barley turn its blades with a sp400 motor. The best replacement is brushless, next best would be one of the Kyosho motors such as the Atomic Force, Endoplasma, or Magnetic Mayham.
