I notice there aren't many LMH posts here anymore. Only 8 in 1 week.
Is there another LMH site around? I just don't want to miss anything.

Yeah, I noticed that things have quieted down lately too. Is everyone out flying their LMH's now that the weather is getting better?

Personally, I've been busy building and flying a hand launch glider, and haven't really worked on my LMH since my mishap a week or too ago. Work keeps me busy as well....

I got darth's MD-500 kit in today and I can't wait to make myself a neat AH-6 out of it. (great product darth, keep it up!)

So, what have the rest of you guys been doing lately?

I check the LMH forum here often and this forum does move pretty slow at least lately. Over at RCgroups.com, it moves quite fast but its an electric forum and not LMH specific. Gas LMH guys arent to common over there either. I hang out there because of my Fuselages and I do fly an electric version of the LMH heli also. Its kinda nice to have the best of both worlds.

It has slowed down here before......sooner or later it picks back up. Not too long ago we passed the Raptor guys in total posts but we have fallen back behind now. Maybe we've just talked everything "to death".

P.S. When the collective pitch upgrade comes out there will be lots of chat.

Yeah, I've been pretty busy with the Zoom lately so the LMH has been lonely. I must say its prob gonna stay that way till the fabled CP upgrade arrives, dang I just cant wait for that to come out, I need some to practice flips with!

This is more like it....
Now a question. The LMH electric is fun, and still is. However, I would like either another one, or one a little bigger, but not much bigger. I'm retiring next month, and will have lots of time to play so what Heli would someone go to next?

I want to get a raptor next...

They are pretty capable, cheap (well, for a helicopter), and parts are plentiful.

I don't think that I'll ever part with my LMH either. I know that they have had v-7 problems....I've experienced it myself......but I've got over 5 gallons of fuel thru this vmax7 and it still lifts off like a rocket! When this heli is "right" it's a blast!!!!

Yes you're right Mark - they're just so much "fun" to fly. If only the V-7 was reliable!

Hi Rog, Yes, I've fitted the V-7 to my LMH, and it's ready to do some more test-flying. I did just one test flight some time ago before bad weather, and now a "bad back," has been keeping me from my helis. You can read about that first V-7 test flight here:

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_16...tm.htm#1642610

Hopefully I'll be "fit to fly" by the time our current spell of bad weather clears-up, so I'll report back just as soon as I can
