Please help!I'm about to order my first Corona 120
I will now order my first Corona 120 and have a few questions.. Is it safe to buy the heli from Atlanta Hobby? Anyone had any experience with them?
If I buy the Corona 120 Basic Combo I think I have to add the following: 3 servos, ESC, Gyro, Motor w/heatsink, 2400 mAh 7-cell battery, Radio, Receiver, Charger, servo extension cables, thick and thin CA and greese.
Is it something more I need? Does the basic combo come with the whip antenna?

I would say first off, how much do you want to spend~? The way your going at it is fine if you know what different parts you want. eg specific transmitter, gyro, etc. From what I've read, Atlanta Hobby is a good place. There is also Roffee's TV & Hobby, which comes highly recommended, and others like Helihobby.com which I've had good luck with. If you are going to purchase things, you should try to buy them in one place, you'll get a better deal. In your other post the Atomic Force works, but you should buy an 8 cell battery. I get mine from CheapBatteryPacks.com or there's battlepacks.com. Search this forum as well as others to see what others have done. Another good forum is RCGroups.com, lots of Corona thread in the Electric Heli forum. Good luck.
